SERVICES: Capital Raising Assistance

Many of our clients ask us to help them raising capital after we have written a business plan. We are not licensed broker dealers and typically introduce our clients to investment banks whom are both licensed and professionals at raising capital. Unfortunately, many clients either can't afford an investment banker's fees or the amount of money they want to raise isn't enough for an investment banker to take them on as a client. For those clients, we join the advisory board and charge a modest fee and write to the venture capitalist we know from around the country to see who will be interested.

When assisting a client in raising capital we provide the following:

  • Identifying venture capitalists around the country that would be interested in funding our client
  • Provide client with a list of 65 potential questions investors will ask
  • E-mailing to them information and a copy of the business plan
  • Following up with those funds interested in discussing a potential investment in the company
  • Preparing client for meetings with venture capitalist, which means going over their presentation
  • Traveling with client to meetings with venture capitalists (client covers all out of pocket expenses)
  • Providing feedback from meeting
  • Identifying venture conferences to present at
  • Review term sheets of investors that weren't identified and contacted by Kramer Communications and provide feedback. Kramer Communications is not paid a finder's fee for this work
