In 1995, after concluding his University studies, he went to work for Texaco Panama Inc. were he occupied several positions in sales and marketing. In 1999 he later went to the City of Knowledge Foundation, a nonprofit organization with the mission to create a place for technology and research. Here he became Project Manager for the innovative International Technopark of Panama, the country´s first research and technology park, were he brought the first companies that established themselves in the first technology cluster of Panama. He returned to private enterprise in 2003 to Samsung Electronics Latin America where he worked as sales and marketing manager for IT and Telecom products for the Domestic Market and the Caribbean. In September 2004 he was appointed the National Director of Investment Promotion within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Panama, were he was in charge of promoting foreign direct investment into Panama. He participated in several business missions throughout the world to promote the country, and was responsible for bringing investments in the IT, Transportation, Shipping, Outsourcing, among others.

In May 2007 Mr. Fabrega broadened his business and commercial experience by accepting a position as Deputy General Manager for Hogalia Panama, the developing arm of a prestigious Real Estate Development firm from Spain, mainly in charge of financing and administrative duties.

Ultimately returning to his passion and what he knows best, in May 2009, he founded FS Consultores, S.A. a Consulting firm specialized in Business Advisory, Public Relations and Government Affairs. He works assisting companies from sectors ranging in IT, Construction, Agro export, Environmental Engineering, and Services among others, to develop business opportunities in Panama.

He is honored by President Ricardo Martinelli for appointing him as a special Advisor for issues pertaining Investment Promotion and the new Panama City Convention Center.
